Filed under: Photographs — the english assassin @ 1:38 pm

Well some scenes from the BBC time travel 1970s cop show Life on Mars was filmed at the bottom of my road yesterday, so I took some pictures. Unfortunately I missed much of the filming but I did get a couple of long distant shots of them filming a scene with the shows star John Simm getting out of a car and having a chat with an actress and some pics of 1970s cars.

So if you are a fan of the show or just like 1970s cars, here they are:

  3. Hi Fran,

Thanks – you are too kind. I’m glad you enjoyed them. I wish I could have seen the whole days shooting, but alas I was too busy that day.

Feel free to link to this post or the blog (this goes for anybody else) – thanks

Actually I’ve took some more pics than I’ve put up here which I couldn’t put up at the time because my image hosting site wasn’t being very nice. Seeing as this post has recived some search attention just lately I’ll try to put them up later. In fairness they are mainly of 70s cars but there was a few nice shots in there that you might like.

I like the look of your Philip Glenister site. Looks like you have put lots of effort into it. Any fans of the show or the actor should certainly check it out.

    Thanks again

    Simon
